NURSING INFORMATICS IN ASIA

As i read the article about the nursing informatics in Asia, i can summarize it and make a conclusion by:

The healthcare environment in Asian countries in becoming in hospital due to high healthcare costs, increasing competition among the  healthcare organizations, decreased funding from the governments, and costumers with more sophisticated demands.

Healthcare informatics and the use of information technology have proceeded rapidly in Asian countries, with exciting developments in the areas of clinical practice, with informatics research, and with informatics education over the past decade. It is clear that professional organizations play a role in raising awareness, education, and dissemination of knowledge in health informatics. This is becoming increasingly complex with the proliferation government initiatives spanning multiple government departments, which is reflection of the multidisciplinary nature of health informatics.
