NURSING INFORMATICS IN ASIA

As i read the article about the nursing informatics in Asia, i can summarize it and make a conclusion by:

The healthcare environment in Asian countries in becoming in hospital due to high healthcare costs, increasing competition among the  healthcare organizations, decreased funding from the governments, and costumers with more sophisticated demands.

Healthcare informatics and the use of information technology have proceeded rapidly in Asian countries, with exciting developments in the areas of clinical practice, with informatics research, and with informatics education over the past decade. It is clear that professional organizations play a role in raising awareness, education, and dissemination of knowledge in health informatics. This is becoming increasingly complex with the proliferation government initiatives spanning multiple government departments, which is reflection of the multidisciplinary nature of health informatics.

Outing at Pearl Farm beach resort :)

I was happy that at last, I came at Pearl Farm. Me, with my Kuya Bryan, Mommy & Papang had spent 2 days and a night with two samal suites with numbers 08 and 09. Perfect numbers! Haha. Yesterday, June 4 2010, we arrived on the resort at exactly 2:35pm. They welcome us with fresh pineapple drinks, and ooh, nice fishes in the Parola bar. Nice place, and WiFi zone too! We go directly in our room so that we can leave our things up. Relax in an hour, but I just played Plants vs. Zombies in the room, because the room wasn’t a WiFi zone. :(

It’s supper time! wuhoo. Exactly 6pm, we ate our dinner, and we had no wonder why the price of their package was that expensive! Very delicious seafoods, pastas, and desserts! After our dinner, a program was there. It was called “The Pirates Night”. And yeaaa, It was really nice. An intermission number by the dancers, and we played Bingo, I have remaining two numbers left on my card, and 3 numbers on the other card, but we’re unlucky, we don’t won the game. It’s okay, it was my first time to play Bingo, and It was fun! After the Bingo, another game was played. We enjoyed, and suddenly, there was a game called “Limbo Rock”, the dancer just approach me if I can join the game, but I refuse, but still, I join the game because they really wanted me to join, even mommy & papang wanted me to join! Okay, then It was just two Limbos. haha. :)

Sleeping time! but, before sleeping, we talked with each other, about the place, etcetera. I want to go to the game room that time, but I’m afraid to go by myself. the place was so dark. haha. So, I just stay outside the room, talking to Him. After we talked, Mommy & I were talking about Him. really funny. :)) and Good Night. Sweet Dreams! :D

Good Morning Pearl Farm! and we woke up at around 5:30 am to view the place, and how nice it was! I looooove it so much! I wanted to swim on pool, but the in-charge refused because the schedule of swimming was 9am. So, we just go directly to the restaurant to eat delicious breakfast. I just ate 1 pancake, a small slice of boneless bangus, fish fillet, and chicken arroz caldo! After the breakfast, we go to the Parola bar and stay, the in-charge just gave us bread so that we are the one who will fed the fishes. I love the fishes. It was so wonderful to see them eating those bread. after we fed the fishes, me & Kuya Bryan played Chess. I lose, but it was still fun! :D

Manipalo Island here we come! we just ride a speedboat to go to the Manipalo Island, still a part of Pearl Farm, we swam and swam, I saw an alive starfish and until I rode a Jet Ski! I wasn’t the one who drove the Jet Ski, I’m just the passenger. Haha. but still, I had fun! A lot! Super! Then, after swimming, we explore the island, it was the place of Florendo, a rich man & the owner of Pearl Farm. Nice place it was. :D

Goodbye Manipalo Island and welcome again Pearl Farm! When we were coming back to the resort, we met a friend from Manila, and her mom told me to grab my digits. Her daughter took up Nursing at UST, so I will just text her if I have an extra load. Nice meeting them Wong family. when we arrived at the resort, we go directly at our room to fix ourselves. I just took a bath, relax about half an hour, and pack our things up because we’ll checking out the room. :((

A shuttle service has arrived and we need to say goodbye and thank you for the nice rooms. I super love it. :) then, it’s lunch time! Again, delicious foods, desserts, etcetera. I had really the best relief! After lunch, we go to the souvenir shop and I just bought a t-shirt that has the logo of Pearl Farm on it. just a remembrance. after buying, again we go to the Parola bar to wait for the time so that we can go home. Around 2:15pm, welcome Davao! and before we go home, we just first relax ourselves at the coffee shop and me & Kuya Bryan ate Banana Split, and halo-halo for Papang.

Summer's almost over. Ang bilis naman ng araw. Hindi pa nga ako handa sa college life ko e. :( pero, I'm excited to meet some new friends. On the orientation day, hoping to meet the unexpected schoolmates. Haha.

Super tired! :(

andito pa rin ung summer ko. gym, laro, gym, laro! :)

enrolled ako ulit sa fitness center for 1month. tama2x lang, pag expire ng 1month ko, pasukan na! wee. Pero, hindi ako excited :( I still want to extend my summer. :( pro, ganyan talaga.
